Firas Daud is a Kurdish featherweight from Gelsenkirchen, fighting out of Fight Club Gelsenkirchen under the nickname Almaz. He turned professional in June 2024 and won his first five bouts inside the distance — every one by knockout, three of them in the opening round — after an amateur career that brought a GAMMA European title and championships with three German organisations. He has also represented Germany in grappling. Stepping up to OKTAGON MMA in April 2026 brought his first professional defeat, a split decision against Václav Štěpán in Liberec, and he answered it in Prague on 1 August with a one-sided decision over Jakub Tichota to move to 6-1.

Steps up to OKTAGON

Loses a split decision on his OKTAGON debut in Liberec in April, the first defeat of his career, then wins his second bout there, in Prague in August, on all three scorecards to go 6-1.
