Firas Daud is a Kurdish-German featherweight from Gelsenkirchen, fighting out of Fight Club Gelsenkirchen under the nickname Almaz. He turned professional in June 2024 and won his first five bouts inside the distance — every one by knockout, three of them in the opening round — after an amateur career that brought a GAMMA European title and championships with three German organisations. He has also represented Germany in grappling. Stepping up to OKTAGON MMA in April 2026 brought his first professional defeat, a split decision against Václav Štěpán in Liberec, and he answered it in Prague on 1 August with a one-sided decision over Jakub Tichota to move to 6-1.
