The Kurdish welterweight earned his shot in front of Dana White after a submission win on the Most Valuable Promotions card, moving to 9-1.
Namo Fazil takes the biggest step of his career after being signed for Dana White's Contender Series. The welterweight — nicknamed 'Grandson of Saladin' — arrived at the opportunity on the back of a second-round anaconda choke on the Most Valuable Promotions event in May, lifting his record to 9-1. A win on the Contender Series can earn a UFC contract outright.
