Isaac Tutumlu López is a Kurdish GT racing driver from Barcelona, and for years the face of Kurdistan Racing — a team that raced as the Barzani Racing Team before taking the Kurdistan name. Funding was always the fight, and it was the one he lost: after a crash at Magny-Cours in August 2025 wrecked the car while he was fighting at the front of the Bronze Cup, he announced on 9 October 2025 that the team had come to an end. "Lack of consistent support has always been our biggest challenge," he wrote, "and sadly, it's now the reason we have to close the team."
Qehreman will keep watching, and return him to the schedule if he races again.

Iber GT champion with Barzani Racing
Wins the Iber GT title, the Spanish GT championship, driving for the Barzani Racing Team — the name the team raced under before it could carry Kurdistan's.
- 2019
Barzani Racing becomes Kurdistan Racing
The team takes the Kurdistan Racing Team name. “We put the Kurdistan flag on our cars and named the team after Barzani until 2019, when we finally received approval to rename the team,” he told Kurdistan Chronicle.

A Pro-Am win in Barcelona
Shares ST Racing's Ferrari with Samantha Tan and Lorcan Hanafin and wins the Pro-Am class at the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup finale in Barcelona. “It's an incredible feeling to achieve the first win of Kurdistan Racing Team in such a competitive world-class series,” he said.

Two podiums, and the end
Having warned that the team lacked the backing to continue, returns in May and takes two Bronze Cup podiums in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup with Arthur Rougier. A crash at Magny-Cours in August breaks his ribs, and on 9 October he announces that Kurdistan Racing has closed.
